I officially booked my trip this evening. My wife, Ava, and I will be traveling with Anissa's parents to La Romana, DR. We originally had plans to go to Cuba, but ended up getting a great deal straight out of Saint John instead.

We ended up booking at the Casa Del Mar in La Romana. I've been to this country several times but not this part of the island so it will be new to all of us. Because we will be there for our Anniversary, we will be staying in a deluxe ocean view room at no charge. We ended up paying $955pp so we were all very happy with the price.

^Sounds and looks great Shane. No doubt you'll have a fantastic time. I think it's great to be able to travel with your parents and now with your in laws. No doubt it's a treat for you and for them with Ava.

Always nice to have a goal or reward to look forward to, especially relating to the kind of winter we've had out East this year.

^ Yeah, Anissa and I have lots of fun traveling with our parents. I would much rather travel with them than anyone else actually.

We're always happy to help put your foot in your mouth for you.

...actually it's great that it works well for you to travel with them, especially with Ava.
We tried it a few times with the outlaws....
each time it was DAMN, why do we keep doing this????

Otherwise they're great; ...just not to travel with.

Yeah, I have an amazing relationship with both of my parents and think the world of them. We have lots of laughs together and they are just boatload of fun to be around. I get along with Anissa's parents extremely well also. Family FTW!

Plus side here today, as it's been all week and should be into next. We'll get ours in March, I'm sure, we usually do.

hehe it has been beautiful and sunny here for the last two days also.

We still have a good foot of snow on the lawn, haven't seen the lawn for a long time.
