Im looking to purchase a 03-04 G35 in a short while(from the USA), originally I was set on getting a fully loaded coupe. However I am now wondering if infact the USDM navigation system has any Canadian cities loaded in the CD. My fathers Pacifica has navi, yet it only has large cities like can, calgary and Toronto.

Can anyone confirm it has Canadian cities, better yet Edmonton?
Also is it satalite loaded, or CD loaded.

 

I have all the US cities so I'm pretty sure all the US ones have all the Canadian cities.

 

i believe it's a north american dvd in there. so yes.. u would receive all the detailed info on canada that it had.

 

Confirmed. The navi DVD covers all of north america in great detail.

I'm also buying a G from the States. So am I getting this right. If you get one from a dealer, they should include the DVD that I can update the software in the Nav with?

I called an Infinity dealer here in town, and they said that the Nav isn't pre-loaded with all the Canadian maps, you have to update that with the CD/DVD, and you can purchase that from Infinity. But are you guys saying that I should get that same DVD when I buy my car?

He doesn't know what he's talking about. All cars with navigation should come with DVDs with North American maps in them. There are periodic yearly updates each year and the DVDs cost about $250 and you can order them from www.zenrin.com.
