Hey all, I just picked up my Motordyne 5/16" spacer and am waiting for my Borla true dual exhaust to come in. Now once i purchase my cai (not sure what i'm getting yet) am I good to put these mods on and drive or should i get the car tunned right away?

Also does anyone recommend any shops to go to? I'm in the Hamilton area (will go to the GTA). Not sure if this matters but it's for a 03 sedan.

You need engine management to tune your car or an ecu reflash. Not much benifit for your current mods you you be a little lean with those mods but I wouldnt worry about tune at this point.

 

i would get tuned just to get more performance out of the car. the stock tune is so demodded that there is a lot to get only from a tune.

 

Hey i was wondering the same thing, i was looking for a place in the GTA for a tune after i finish with my n/a mods for my FX. so far i have the mods in my sig (test pipes are probably causing me to run lean) and ill be adding headers and a nismo exhaust in the next few months.

 

You might want to wait a bit for tuning...COBB tuning is coming out with a new Accessport for the 03 G sedans. Its still under development but there is a "beta tester" on board here at "Driver". So far things are looking good, just a little slow in getting the product out.

lol hasn't it been over a year since they said they were "developing" an access port. the next gen sedan and coupes are already out and theyre still not done an access port for the old gen models
