Idiots are not only on the roads, eh.
FWIW Next time it snows go out and take pictures of their house with the snow. When the plough guy does your neighbour, go out and film him dumping snow on your side. When either of them ask what you are doing tell them your are compiling a record of their activities and the irresponsibility of the plough co. in case you or the city needs evidence in court. Also that you are posting this on the internet so everyone can see what this company is doing. Tell them a relative, that is a lawyer, told you to do this and that they will be happy to represent you in court if needed.
Also call the bylaw office, there may be a reporting proceedure, ann it may in fact be against the law.
Go out and get lots of film or pictures and let them see you doing it. That goes for the city guy as well, if you have the time.
Otherwise, as someone else mentioned, get a ****** Fkr of a snowblower and blow it back at them.

meh.. the city turned out to be useless as usual. i hired a snow removal guy to come over and push the snow. he almost broke his plow... there's just too much ice mixed in. he did the best he could and that's that. at the time we were talking about pushing the snow over to the neighbours side of the road... but i just don't want to bother with the hassle or fight. i did leave my neighbour a nice note on his van .. and in his mailbox .. and on his door as to what i paid to fix the crap he left me.

what really amazes me about this whole thing.. is how some people really have no common courtesy for the people around them. this guy knows what his plower did.. yet, didn't so much as give me an apology or fess up to the wrong doing. these are the neighbours i could really care less for. i've penciled him under my d1ckhead section for neighbours. funny... he's the only name in there.

yeah.. i was hoping that he would at least get a fine out of the whole thing... kind of out of principal for being a d1ck. but the city just doesn't seem to really care.... which is strange... because i would have thought it would be some easy money for the city of toronto. meh... i guess are all our taxes are doing them good this year.

Yeah, not so surprising with some people.

Your actions are probably a good tactic. Is it worth the feud over a few bucks? Maybe he will come through anyhow although I'm sure you're not holding your breath.
