Uprev Osiris in Alberta

Does anyone know if there is a shop using Osiris Software to flash your ECU in Alberta. I am just putting on my mods next week and the reading I've done on the USA site strongly advises getting a flash to get the most out of the car. I am putting on a Fast Intentions Exhaust, test pipes, MREV2, 5/16 ISO copper spacer,JWT popcharger and a Chrome Z tube. Spent $2800 and wand the biggest bang for my 06 MT Coupe.I see you can buy the disc on line from revup.com. Hoping not to spend $700DOMO

Wish I could help you, Shark. If you haven't already, be sure to sign up in the Western Canada members registry sticky at the top of the page. Love to see (and hear) your car.

I don't think you technially need a shop to get the reflash onto your ecu if you buy the full UpRev Osiris package. You buy it, you do some data logs, email them and then they make a map and email it to you. Then you upload the new program (reflash) yourself.

Im currently thinking about picking up a Uprev tuner pack. I have emailed cam but no email back yet. Gord from all the posts i have read about lightingspeed it seems like its your second home lol, so maybe you would be able to help me out. Does you know if Cam have a base tune made up for strickly bolt ons that he could use on my car and just tweak?

Or would i have to get a full blown custom one from scratch?

Thanks in advance

I havent been around there much this winter, since I work in Calgary I don't have "free time" like I used to. I am not sure if he has base tune or not, I am sure he would have a car with similar mods that he would use as a base. I know he would want to have it on the dyno to watch and tweak things. I would try calling him(leave a message) as well or send another email titled "second request". I know I have heard before that he is hard to get ahold of, he is pretty busy and should have an assistant but dosent
I used to be the go between for G35drivers and Cam but I mentioned it once/made a joke on facebook about how he never returns calls/emails....he didnt find it funny so I try to stay out of it now.

Guys... seriously-

We go out there and spend thousands, and thousands (and thousands) of dollars on NA mods that, again and again, are proven to produce negligible gains without a proper tune. I'm talking full bolt ons minus maybe headers- spacer, airbox, Z-tube, HFC / TP, exhaust at THAT altitude adding about 20-30HP/TQ... sometimes a little less- sometimes more... I remember there was a time where I actually thought I'd be able to tip over 300 (which, at stock figures was only a 15hp boost technically)-

If you're going to drop the money on the gucci- go- faster mods then for the love of god don't skimp on the tune that can tie it all together and help you get maximum benefit out of it.

As for Cam- I barely know the guy, don't get me wrong- but I do remember from having my interactions with him in the beginning (where he did the install on a lot of my bigger bolt ons and the original COBB tune). I don't think he emailed me once... ever (even to this day, actually). But make no mistake- he is very passionate about his business and the platform. Get him on the phone and ask him the questions. He was VERY responsive on the phone and did go to pretty great lengths to meet me in the middle with what needed to be done to my car.

He also stepped up during my issues with my original install that Progressive did on the TT and helped to steer them in the right direction when they ran into their many problems. He had no reason to do this because there was nothing in it for him- except maybe on the off chance that his dedication might help generate some new enthusiast business.

Anyway... LSI is a pretty good business and Cam is a good guy to help get you where you want to go. And do yourself a favour- don't chimp on some mail in tune. Make a drive out of it- get it on the dyno, get it tuned properly... and enjoy.
