Well it's official as of today......I won't be able to make the CB road trip.

We are cutting most of our network over to VoIP and we are starting it at near midnight on Sunday, June 29th. That week is much quieter than normal due to the July 1st and July 4th holidays, so it made the most sense. It sucks that I had to make the decision to do it during the week of our trip, but I felt it was the most appropriate time business wise.

To be honest, I am quite bummed out and disappointed I won't be able to make the trip.......I have been looking very forward to it. Wayne, if you still plan on coming east and staying in Rothesay, I've got the entire weekend free up until Sunday night to do something with you and K. I could even take a day or two off the previous week.

They say bad news comes in threes .
Well with Karen's knee replacement, we are not sure how she will be on the trip (overall it would be 3,000 miles). We thought she would be fine, but since they postponed her surgery a couple of times, she might not have the time to fully recover. She is doing great by the way, she is using a cane now, and going to therapy a couple times a week. We have tried some short one hour trips and it has it's toll on her right now.
It doesn't look good for us either for the cruise.

^ yikes.... not looking good folks.
That's too bad, but completely understandable Wayne.
That's a long ride for someone that's just had knee surgery.

I'm glad to hear that things are progressing though

Totally understandable Wayne. I just spoke to H and given this news we'll plan to cancel our reservations. Brian, hope you're checking in soon to get this update.

Hopefully we can all plan another meet in the future!

Best wishes to Karen for continued recovery.

Thanks for understanding Deane , honestly it really hurts to have to cancel this. We always have such fun with you guys.
We will do it when all can make it.

No problem at all.

There seems to be too much going against us all on this one! I agree we want to have the whole group.

Darn, what a bummer everything has seemed to come unraveled on this one.

I really hope we will be able to re-schedule our trip at a later date.........I am anxious to hook up with you guys again.

Wayne, I am really glad to hear that K's recovery is progressing well. Having been through knee issues myself over the last year, I can totally imagine how uncomfortable a 3000 mile trip would be for her. Let her know I'm wishing her a speedy recovery.
