Congrats Wayne & Karen. our weather has been a little coolish up until earlier this week too. Lawn looks great though. Today I sealed my aggregate drive with an epoxy product. I'll see if I can post up a pic tomorrow.

Thanks Deane, I know I am very lucky, I still have fun with my wife and we enjoy each others company after 38 years.

Did you say aggregate driveway. We were going to redo ours this year but that got cancelled, do to lack of green stuff. Maybe next year. We were considering interlocking or anexposed aggregate driveway. I'll have to talk to you about an aggregate driveway sometime.

Sure thing. It looks fantastic but it takes a sealer every couple of years to maintain it. For a few months the resealed surface is a tiny bit slippery when wet. As well the installer makes a big difference as I suppose it does with any type of driveway.

A few neighbours have interlocking. They look very nice too but in time always seem to have weed problems or sinking pavers. Trouble with aggregate is really potential for cracking concrete. Use of lots of steel should resolve that.

I love exposed aggregate driveways.....
My brother has it & I looked into it as well;
For me, it was just too cost prohibitive for the size of driveway that I have.

Shane, if your lawn is still dry, you can have some of the rain we will be getting for the next FIVE DAYS.

I understand with your driveway! Mine is about 1250 sq ft w/ walkways plus I have a large stairway.
