Dirty Headlight Lenses

I have had my G35 Sedan for just over a year and am still enjoying the car. One thing that bothers me is there seems to be some sort of film on the inside of my headlight lenses. Has this happened to anyone else? I was told by someone the lenses could be cleaned with a "specially designed" brush.
If anyone can offer some advice regarding this, I'd appreciate it.

Re: Dirty Headlight Lenses

Hi Shecky,

I had the same problem on my sedan. The film that you see is on the exterior of the lens. It must be road film or something. I found that "Meguires PlastiX" worked for me. I had to treat the lens a few times using a little elbow grease but the film was removed. I did this just a couple of weeks ago. No brush is needed. Just read the instructions on the bottle and you will have no problems. Its just like applying wax to your car.
I hope this helps, if not, go back to the dealer and ask them to remove the film for you.

Good Luck,

35BILLS

Re: Dirty Headlight Lenses

My headlight lens are covered with 3M Clear Bra material and still looks new after approx. 8 months. Although waxing the surface does help to keep it clean.

Tinted Windows

Hyper Voltage System
Aluminum Pedals
Complete Front-end Clear Bra
