My new IS-F (sorry but gone to the dark side) ,

In my defence, I tried for a GT-R but gave up due to waiting lists and very high markup.....so for now 'settled' for the Lex.....

Some great pics of Sam's revitalized, rebuilt, reshod, and just about 're' everything else G-Coupe .....LOL his Black beauty is as gorgeous as the day it left the factory.....and apparantly runs and sounds as good as new too...

Great looking ride Colin. That spirited tour of the back roads you took me for ( from 61 km to 68 km ) was quite the ride. Lots of torque and very smooth. But what could I expect from an old smoothie like you.

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone.....I'm really excited about the new ride since it's quite exclusive so far. The dealer suggested that only 2000 would be produced first year and only about 5% would reach our shores!
They're rare so far and boy are they special....

Not a very practical ride as DD in these days of soaring oil prices but man is this thing a lot of fun....

More soon, when I get some klicks on her and more pics too when I find some decent settings.

I should add that Kevin (Picus) 'new-car-prepped' the IS-F and did his magic on both the inside and out.

Sam, the coupe looks fantastic!

I was asking around about GT-R's here. They will only be sold in TO, Montreal and Vancouver according to a sales manager here. There is a tremendous commitment the selling dealers have to make-inventory, training, equipment etc. They are required to have a GT-R in stock at all times as a loaner when yours is in for service.

 

Finally the mysterious Colin-mobile makes an appearance. Worth the wait!!
