I'd love to see that front end in person though;
those headlights don't photograph too well from some angles.

Interior, suspension, drive train, you name it its been improved. I enjoyed my test drive so much I am contemplating trying to find someone to take over the lease on my 07. Only thing I did not like about the new FX is the exhaust note, it is less FXish and a little more BMWish. My 07 sounds better to me even though the 09 is a true dual set up.

Not a lot of power; similar to a Civic but comes in lower.
& handling is surprisingly entertaining.
It'll do nicely as a DD for the time being.
Very nice Ian. I did see a thread where you commented on it but must have missed the part where said you got one. I had a peek at one at a dealer and was impressed with it for the $.

I also looked at a Civic & Subie.
I just couldn't get used to that HUGE windshield & picnic table dash in the Civic.
In combination with the digital readouts, I felt like I was driving a video game.
The base Subie Intergra left me really flat... didn't like it at all.
The full time AWD sucks up way too much power;
handling was unimpressive with lots of body roll.
Gas mileage was no he11 either.
