Ariel Atom
Just finished the Ariel Atom Experience on Wednesday. My GF, brother and sister all chipped in to get this for my birthday this year. I must say its definitely something you must experience at least once in you life.
Overview:
Although others had nothing but positive things to say about the program, my GF and I were a little skeptical about the whole program, when we first got there, things looked a little sketchy, nothing but a canopy setup along side a trailer.
Once things got started our impression of the event quickly changed from a skeptical one to a positive one. The event organizers and staff were great, they made an effort to learn everyone's name and engaged in conversation between laps and joined us for lunch where we got to know them a lot better. They also tried to ensure there was minimal downtime and maximum track time.
The thing that impressed me the most about the AAE was how they treated the spectators, there were only 2 of them, my GF and another drivers wife(Olga). Although the AAE does not promote not deter spectators, they treated them as well as they treated the drivers who were participating in the event. They had no problems providing lunch for Olga and my GF. They even allowed my GF to ride shot gun in the pace car during the last event of the day. To top things off, they let both my GF and Olga ride as passengers during the hot laps.
The Ariel Atom Experience is definitely a top notch event and organization.
