Great White North Car Cover
Hi Guys
I have been considering a car cover for the G35X. The car is always outside.
I have done a search and the Covercraft Noah car cover is what I am leaning towards.
I posted in the Canada section since a lot of you are familiar with our weather.
Any other car covers that you folks have had experience with or could you reccomend one.
Thanks

NOAH is the one that you hear of most often for an outdoor cover, but I haven't used one myself.
Here is another source for comparison. car covers direct

Thanks for the link Ian.
I have never used one before, but I was thinking it would be might be better keeping it covered up in the back, to protect it from the elements, and the tree and bird crap.
The car sometimes sits for a week at a time, if we aren't driving out of town..

I had one for a lot of years (11) with my Mazda MX6 which was stored every winter. 8 of those years it was kept outside. It was an evolution 3 and worked extremely well. It looks exactly like the one on the first link. IIRC it is made by Dupont. The cover does not have custom cutouts for the mirrors and you will also have to consider additional protection where the plastic grommets are for securing it. Otherwise it may scratch the paint.
I currently have an Infiniti factory cover for mine that is only used inside as a dust cover. (That's the second link Sam supplied) It's very heavy but a thin material not really suitable for everyday outdoor use. I wouldn't recommend it.
The most important thing is the car should be fairly clean before it goes on otherwise the cover may cause scratches on a windy day. You'll want to carefully consider how it fastens/secures for ease of everyday use and no damage.
EDIT: I just did a search for the Noah. That's the one you want Wayne. Custom for the mirrors, fabric protection built in at the grommet points, breathable multi layer synthetic fabric. It's the step up from the one I had which was the best at the time. Excellent.

Thanks Deane, I appreciate your input.
You are a very meticulous car guy and if it gets the nod from you as being a good cover, that's good enough for me.
This week I will check with my local supplier about one, if no luck I will order from Cali.

Well I found out I can get the Covercraft Noah car cover locally. It is special order but I figure it would be the same price if I ordered from the US with brokerage, tax, shipping etc.
I am ordering it tomorrow.
