I am in the same boat as you. I am going to put winter tires over my stock 18inch g35xs sedan rims and just get a set of sexy 19" works to use for the summer.

Here's a great deal on some Blizzaks. Correct size for sedan 17s and would probably work on coupe 17s.

Pick up only in Colorado probably wouldn't help.

Anyone know if 16" steel rims (winter) will clear the calipers for the coupe?

If you have a newer Coupe , no they won't.
I think some 16s did fit on the 03 and 04 models without the big brakes
