^somehow I'm not surprised. I have horrible visions of the gun registry.
EDIT: I did get in once on line this morning but got an error message after inputting my number and submitting.
Got in this time but the confirmation code did not appear. I ended upcalling the telephone number and registered that way. It's easy but you must be calling from the number you wish to register.

I did mine on line, takes a few tries because everyone in canada is doing it. One thing I notice is that the number stays on the list for only 3 years, after that it looks like you have to re register.

Had no luck online all day, but I phoned this evening at 9:20 and registered that way successfully.

I'll be registering. I usually just do a quick "pick up and hang up" whenever the CLID shows 000-000-0000 or Iowa, or Michigan or 866-xxx-xxxx. I'd be (marginally) interested to know who actually buys crap these guys peddle over the phone - if I'm thinking of buying something, I'll do the searching myself...
