^6 hours first time? Must have been really unprepared. I took 4 and I thought I was unprepared.

2nd time took me 5 hours when switching back to stock due to the bolt being rusted.

Does it help to shoot some bolt loosener (penetrant) on 'em the night before? Used to work on my old Chev pickup.

Where are you guys in Canada buying this mystery penetration fluid from? Crappy tire? What is the actual name? I know I will need this stuff when it comes time to do the work. Or would WD40 suffice?

I also used 3 in 1 Pentetrating Oil. Comes in an orange can. Works well.

For the fronts remove the spring retaining plate bolt (the bolt in the centre on top of the strut) when its in the car or you will need a compressor or air tools to get it off once the assembly is out of the car.
Which BillStein Coilovers did you get? I'm considering the PSS10. How are they at the track?

Never heard of the PSS10? I got the PSS9 I really like them. I was very concerned about keeping a good ride quality. The PSS9 ride nice they are stiffer than stock but for the most part I think they give the car a sportier feel not harsh at all.

Edit: you asked how they are at the track? They are a little soft for the track due to the rear springs being progressive. I have hear of guys that track their car lots swaping out to Eibachs of H&R rear springs to stiffen it up a bit.

I wrote a review on myg35.ca

I haven't done mine yet, but I'll be doing them relatively soon, I just need to set aside a weekend and do them. I intend to fully document it with pictures and post it up on here, because all the guides I've seen were for shock & spring, not coilovers. I'll be using a digital caliper to adjust the ride height.
