I was driving to downtown to meet my friend that he had came back from Aussie. I parked the on the driveway of his and he wasn't home. So I waited and all the sudden I heard a BIG BANG and my alarm went off. DAAAMN, my friend hit my bumper!! @$#%$%$%@. Here is the picture of the damage bumper

I would say it's time for an upgrade...

 

nah... cost $500 to repair it no need for a new bumper I went to a lot of different autobody shop in Mississauga and Toronto area, $500 is the best price i can get. Oh well, i have an appointment on Weds. and it'll be done Friday morning!

 

$500 sound kinda cheap for that kinda damage?.. if you plan on keeping the car for a while, get a good shop to do the painting.. you don't want your paint to start peeling after a year cause you saved an extra couple of bucks..

 

You'll be suprise that this is lifetime warranty, if paint comes off, then they'll repaint it under no charge. I will get more info before i get it repaired.

 

Can I ask who is painting it for you? And have you ever heard of Technik Auto works they do a lot or custom work.

Dude..ever since my G35c I have had the worst luck and the evil eye on me..I had to take my car in to the body shop 2 times for the bumper! The first time I had the same prob like yours..But it cost me no where near $1000.00..thats insane man! You should not pay anymore than $600.00 for that type of work. $1000.00 is ridiculous! I've done enough research believe me I know..They have to heat it, than pop it back out, than sand it down etc. than finally repaint it..anything more than $600.00 the Auto Body Shop is ripping you off or in other words robbing you! Do your research and shop around bro!

 

Hey..I just read all the other posts..you scared me when you mentioned $1000.00. $500.00 is a good deal..When mine was done it was like brand new too! Its amazing what these mom and pop auto body shops can do, just as though the car came out of the assembly line..
