Man that sucks... I was looking at Tein Basics/SS exactly because perhaps the car could be raised back to stock height for the snow. But if the salt is just going to eat it anyway... Then there's the bit about "the car should be realigned every time you change the height." Is that the case, or can we just live with an unoptimal alignment for the winter and put it back to low in the summer and get back the good alignment?

I have lots friends that use coilovers in the winters for several years now with no issues or reliability issues. I can really see there being a problem in the short term (1-4)years.

You can also keep your OEM setup and use that for the winter if you're worried about deteriorating your new setup. Just a thought.

how about Eibach Pro-Street Coilovers?

http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...a7f4a6742ed1d9

Has anyone try it?
• Rust-Free Stainless Steel Technology
it says rust-free..so just curious if this is an advantage for the winter

and how is Eibach comparing to the Tein's?

I(newbie) want to get coilover or springs to lower my ride ,too..

Eibach would be my choice over Tein anyday hands down.
