I'm thinking about giving them a try next time instead of PS2s
They look good Ian. I should get another driving season out of my rubber, but I'd def. consider these next year.

I'm torn right now....
I'm wondering if I should get the HTRs & shelve the Bridgestones for return at end of lease.
..or
just run out the Bridgestones first.

Tough one, how much room do you have left in the garage? Maybe, run the Bridgestones to the point of acceptable return and then slap on the HTR's.

If you are not satisfied with the performance of the Bridgestones, I would do the switcheroo now. If they are performing pretty good then save the money for now and put it towards other mods, and we won't tell

Tread wear is my main concern, I don't want to swap out a pair every two years.

Yeah... they'll be getting pretty close to that soon.

The Bridgestones are OK but nothing spectacular either....
With the Sumo's I'd be able to get a little wider as well.

The other thing is... if I put some $$ into tires,
I won't be so tempted to change up the wheels & waste the money spent on tires.

mods?....
I've always got something in the works... stay tuned

My buddy had some rt-615, which are rated 200 treadwear, he only got 10,000 kms off it street driving, no track.

I've had very good experience with FK-451 (discontinued), so no doubt that FK-452 should be the same or better with decent treadwear.
