New key + new keyfob
I got a FOB from a Nissan employee for 15 bucks minus the trunk release. I think Infiniti charges a lot can't remember what they quoted me at. The best thing to do is call your local Infiniti dealer.
Don`t EVER buy keys or key fobs from the dealer. For some reason, they charge a bloody fortune for these items. Keys and key fobs for all manufacturers can be purchased on e-Bay or several other after-market websites for a fraction of the dealer`s cost. I just purchased a replacement key (with chip) and key fob for my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder for less than 30 bucks (both items). You can reprogram the key fob on your own, however unfortunately you`ll have to take the key to the dealership to have it programmed.
