possible proposal

the other day i seen a man come in and looked at the line up, he hoped in his car and went to the take away window lineup, and i noted where he would of been in line, turns out the line inside went quicker... i seriously think items such as sandwhiches shouldnt not be aloud in the take away window line up, slows everyone down. take away window should be coffee and donuts only! any one agree... damn all you who order sandwhiches and sit there for minutes on end in the take away line up!

True that. When I get the urge ( usually to treat my co-workers ) I always walk in.

first donut of the year , times like this games like this gets a lot of attention, as people kind of lose hope in future and put hope in things like scratch and win..

All part of the cacooning (sp?) isolation tendency of our society. Won't even get into the laziness aspect. I remember long ago in the GODs when you walked into a donut shop ( Mr. Donut ) in the 60's you actually chatted to people in line and they responded. The old doll behind the counter knew you name and had your coffee and a honey dipped (10 cents each or three for a dollar) ready with a smile. But things change, I had hair then too.

Which reminds me of when I lived in Oakville in the 60's when the first Tim Horton's opened -- (not sure if ours was the first, but if it wasn't it was close to the first) -- Talk about 'investment oportunities'.

BTW, does anyone remember Tim Horton and who that dude was? I'll bet he's rolling over in his grave....

C.
I do remember seeing a story about Tim's widow suing the group that bought the chain off her shortly after his death. She drastically undersold and was upset that she was taken for a ride on the whole deal. Her claim did not go far at all in the courts.
I am suspicious of everything Timmies. Their warehouse is located here and it's very hush hush, no visitors and you could drive by it without even knowing as there are no signs. I only go to Tims as a last resort. Even at the mall, I'll go to the MMMuffins shop for a coffee. The lineups are much smaller too. I can't get over the lineups at the Tim's in Milton, they are lined up on the road taking up the left lane, lord only knows how long it takes to get a coffee.
