since my first post, I just wanted to meet the members here but even at the cambridge meet, only 2 showed up.... while there was atleast 4-5 members from every other car type that showed up....
I work as well but i think we need to better organize the meets... I try to check in on the forums as often as I can in order to avoid missing any meets...
- the us market could also have more younger drivers because they can easily get loans down there... you will find people owning houses, multiple cars with a ****ty job.... (reason why their economy collapsed)

the guy going 180 is going to get a 149 over the limit and charge reduced to speeding. at least that wat happend the last 3 court dates of ppl that iv heard off. one was going 165 got reduced to 120, one was 197 was reduced to 149 and the last one was 180 and reduced to 149.
but 250 i see no way he is going to get that reduced to speeding but he might just not get any speeding at all he might get reckless driving which doesnt suspend his license but does take 6 points off and if you stop for the cops (at that speed which you would have to if your going 250 top speed of a crown vic is 230 or so and even then it would take them awhile to catch up to him) they will be nicer to him in court.
no matter how much they wanna make and example out of him the fact that your fined before you even go to court (impound fee) and your license taken away right away doesnt help the police in court, so far iv heard from ppl with lawyers you will get ur charge lowered at the very least. only ppl with inexperienced lawyers or generic lawyers (x-cooper) have lost in court and been convinced. its a flawed law and the main purpose of it is money, they should really revise it then it probably stand in court because if it was to stop speeders then there wouldnt be such a large amount speeders still charged with the new law and if it did stick in court we would have a lot less drivers on the road.

i think if the guy didnt stop and run he might even have a chance to bail out the scene, considering his speed however he would have put himself to worse situation than now. high speed pursuit , dangering public...
im not encouraging anyone to do that, i would not do or even consider , just a possibility..

they are chipped and have around 250 hp lol and by law they cant chase someone over 80km over the limit to really passed 180kmph they cant chase you because of safety, but the highway patrol unit can which still only has a top speed 230 (crown vic) 243 (charger) 265 (charger srt8). it takes about 20 min for the helicopter to show up. and expect for the srt8 which there are only 10 in canada as cop cars, no other police car could of really stopped him. but really best to pull over they are much nicer to you and you go to court get a proper lawyer and fight the very very ridiculous guilty before innocent law and you will always get a reduced charge or charge changed but of course lawyer plays a big role. to bad its so much hustle to deal with all that and lots of money :/
