I bought a set of Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THX at London Drugs for an outstanding price a few months back. Think I only paid about $100 for them.

Very powerful, room-filling sound! They are an older series of speaker, but still rate well at a great price if you can find them.

so yeah the budget is around 500-600= =

help me to choose!!!
Yamaha YSP-900 FTMFGDW! It's dead on your budget and rocks. got mine with matching sub at Soundsaround in Calgary, they are I think $498 right now. I listened to the Bose, and the Yamaha is definitely better (and cheaper).

Future Slop and Worst Buy don't carry them. No Cdn link, I'm afraid, Soundsaround doesn't put product on their site. Must be a shop in the Big Smoke that has 'em, though. Also maybe look at used.
