So, reading some of the posts about meets and stuff, and trying to change the scene from sitting in a parking lot, we were thinking that maybe something like a run through the winding roads of the Muskokas would be another idea sometime in May. Some sat or sun and stop for lunch along the way. Would people be interested in something like this?

Muskoka is north or Barrie in cottage country... all winding roads, forest, lakes, roads through rock cutouts. Also very scenic.Originally Posted by stclairwest
Where is muskoka? I dont know too much outside of toronto.
There are some great roads up there that I've been meaning to check out......
Weekends are really tough for me for a couple of months though.
I've heard great things about this run....

There are some great roads around there, some a bit rough but fun. I agree with InTgr8r, May is a bit early.

wow that looks like a lot of fun, do you think there would be cop trouble? i doubt we'd be driving at 60 through a road as windy as that

Last summer I picked up a girlfriend from camp up that way, the scenery is amazing and so were the roads, with nice long bends, and some hills, perfect driving conditions (this was in august and mind you i was in the cl) i am excited to have an exhiliarating ride in the G this summer, june would be much more prefered!
I am thinking of trying to organize once a month throughout to summer. I'll go every time, and for the people who might not be able to make one 1 month can catch up the next month....
