Looking to get a G35 Sedan 6MT but....

There are only a couple that I can find.

I found one that has like 160,000kms on an 05' model.

It's from a dealer and said it comes with 2yrs warranty on all power train.

I know how these engines are notorious to burn oil, but do you think 160k is too much?

What things should I look for when inspecting this car out......it seems well priced because of the high KMS.

Any help is appreciated!

160k kms is a ton of mileage on an '05. the price would have to be a steal for me to even consider it. if you're in a larger market i would hold off for a lower mileage unit. there is stilllots of life left at 160k (assuming it has been well maintained) but i would still prefer to see under 70k on an '05. my '04 has 74k.

still, if it is an absolute steal and you are eager then MAKE SURE to have an indepenent inspection performed prior to purchase.

Only reason why I'm considering it is because its 12Gs and they're giving 2yrs worth or warranty on all power train.

I'm sure I could ask for 3yrs and knock of 1G, making it 11Gs with 3 yrs worth of power train warranty.

If anything went wrong in the 3yrs, I could just go to the dealership and have it replaced.

I'd probably hope for huge amounts of oil consumption so then I could get a free engine too

I have only found like 3 6MT sedans and others have sold pretty fast. I don't really want to settle for an automatic but there seems to be only a handful of 6MT sedans out here in the GTA

Yea man, 160k is monster mileage. An undisclosed friend that you know found a coupe for 15k with only 100k on it, and coupes always sell for more. Unfortunately, someone beat him to it and put down a deposit, but he'll be picking it up if it falls through. You should def be able to find a lower mileage sedan than 160k.

If a mickey Mouse dealer is selling it most likely it has some problems with it. Don't buy it

Thanks guys!

I've been looking for a 6MT Black sedan for the LONGEST time.

They are SO rare and usually low KMs with like 60k kms.

I found 1 with 135k for 15gs though, but that's still kinda expensive.

I'll be patient and wait for the chance to grab one.

PS: What's up Ant? lol

Hey guys, you're making me nervous. I'm near 140K on my ride and she's still sweet.
