How loud is it inside the car? This system seems pretty loud and like I said, I'm pretty sure I have to no leaks. It's not what I'd really call drone, either. The Mrs took it around the block and from the outside it sounds great.

i dont thik its loud, but like i have said before. i came from owning a pretty darn loud wrx. catless exhaust, externally dumped waste gate, straight cut gears, atmospheric dumped bov... so my previous car made alot of noise. i will compare it to a winter of my civic in a few weeks!! pics look good!

So, does it make more power?

I, OTOH, spent my weekend rebuilding my deck...

Good question, to be honest I haven't truly butt-dyno'd it yet, but looking at the design -- x-pipe, twin small resonators instead of giant sound-killer box thingy (it really is huge!), two-in/two out rear section, I gotta think it does. They advertise 20+ hp; that should be enough to notice if it's for real. One thing certainly for real is the weight saving, the stock assembly must weigh 60 pounds, this feels like half that.

NOW I get to do glamourous honey-do jobs like painting the fence, re-flooring my trailer and setting up the rain barrel.

Looking forward to maybe a couple more small mods, though.

Congrats! Let me know how the low/mid/high end feel. I know it's going to be a bit loud though. Does it drone? If you want to start quieting down the sound, retaining the oem box and going with the revup v-stack is one way

Mine has no problem with a good chirp into 3rd but I don't know that's any real measure of power.

I have the whole Stillen CAI, but so far have only installed the z-tube.

Jeff, I was gonna PM you about noise (the car kind, not the ones you usually make). I haven't driven it enough to get a good feel for the power/noise/etc except to notice it's a fair bit louder than stock, which I expected, just maybe a tad less.

Tends to indicate a large, massy flywheel. My old M5 wouldn't even chirp 2nd - really light flywheel.
