To paint or not to paint that is the question..
To paint or not to paint that is the question..
Some of you may know I ended up purchasing the rear Aero Apron for my car.
I was thinking since there are a few guys on here now that will have this kit I would be different and paint the Whole apron Silver as opposed to leaving the back bottom matte black. Reason for this is it will look a little lower if everything was painted and....well its different, if I don't like it I could always do what Ian did and put a vinyl sticker to put it back to how it should be.
Any thoughts?

I like the unpainted look Roy, plus you might have paint mismatch after painting it. I know my rockers and rears aren't 100% matching after painting but then again I hear IP is one of the hardest to match.
I would leave it unpainted myself. Realistically there are only a couple guys that have the kit, and you guys don't live around one another.
On top of that your 20's and the drop already offset your car from a lot of cars on here.

are you talking about a nismo style diffuser? Or something else?
Here is mine in CF I think I would paint it to match if it wasn't CF....my CF looks like **** now anyway its all faded. Paint it to match.

Roy, I think it would look good either way, but if it was my choice I would do as you said earlier and get it all painted. If you decided later you didn't like it you could get the bottom part done in a matte black overlay.
Get the overlay in silver and if you don't like it peel it off and go with black.
If you need a good vinyl guy PM me. Not sure if it will be an exact match you'd have to ask him.
