ok guys i got the car back!! it doesnt sound like you would think at alllll! its like a muscle car with a very loud blow off that fires back on all gears! it really really really sick all of my friends have called it sex on wheels. my only concern is that it really is loud i need to put a porche muffler its the only one that would fit this type of system. speed wise i cant push the car but semi trying im much quicker then my car with mods. lots of spin off in first second is good except at the top end and third is quick. first take about 3800rpm to spool, second take 3000rpm, 3/4/5 all at just below 3000 rpm.
in prospective it sounds like the buick grand national from fast and furious 4.

motor
Zeidik, nice pics, sounds like you have quite the machine. If you are interested in buying a block and heads to build while still being able to drive your G, I have all sorts of stuff sitting in my garage from when I had a motor built for my setup. I would let it go for cheap. Let me know if you are interested.

went out on a spin! ..the thing is a beast.. literally.. if you closed your eyes, you would 100% guess its 1. a mustang (the older ones, the real beasts) 2. an american muscle car with a v8 in it... 3. a ****en truck lol.... (except the G sounds 100 times better)
turbo is awesome but needs some work such as gauges/tuning/turbo timer to properly maintain it in the future

well the end result of the built that started out costing me 8k ended at a grand total of 15k.
the rear mounted turbo is not meant for out car. sure it has torque of the go and you wont notice the lag and sure maintenance is going to be cheaper but for one you cant lower you car which isnt really my favorite thing cuz i like the lowered Gs. secondly it has alot of oil issues, its hard for the oil to go all the way back to the engine from the turbo because of the pump and the turbo itself spews oil. another problem is the fuel lines and injectors are to small with all the turbo kits out the box. 440 cc injectors reached 96% duty cycle compared to 71% from 630cc injectors. * 80% is max safe limit. noise. amazing noise but the echo followed the car which is awesome for the track! for the street sounding like a row of R1s with cut off exhausts flooring it is not the most comfortable thing in the world.
so my end result turbo went back to where it belonged in the front, upgraded the ecu(very important!), intercooler, oil lines and pump, upgraded the fuel lines, injectors and rail, oil pan spacer and put back the stock G35 muffler and midpipe + garret gt35 turbo = safe factory turboed power with a mild hint of the g35 sound on the lower end.
my advice if you want to get turbo/turbos for your G pay for the full kit that includes the lines and pumps and allll else you need because i tryed the short cut and it ended up just as much as buying and installing a greddy TT or aps extreme kit TT or go completely custom its a lot of headache but if your willing to spend sometime away from ur G35 its the cheapest and the longest way but in the end any kit for the G35 is the same for a stock motor unless ur planning 600+ hp it doesnt matter wat you get its the injectors and oil and fuel lines and pumps that get in ur way about power because tunning is more complex then it seems!
