Question Carbon Fiber Doors - 1400$ USD

What do you guys think of this?

Our doors are one of the heaviest doors i've come across, damnn... got crushed soo many times when cleaning the car... do you guys think these doors would make a BIG difference?

and i assume, you can easily paint over these and take advantage of the lighter doors....

doors, hood, fenders, trunk, (some parts of the bumpers), mirrors <--- if all of these were to be changed with the carbon fiber ones currently available, i wonder how much weight is being shaved off..... every 50lbs is equivalent to 1 horsepower or something.... so by shaving off around 300lbs, its like having an aftermarket exhaust..

Most parts are fiberglass wrapped in carbon fiber, unless you pay more and get it double sided.

I dont think they are street legal , due to no crash protection. If you get T-boned your dead and you would hear alot more road noise with out sound deading.

+1 on what these guys said. The manufacturer would be better able to talk about weight savings vs. guys on Gdriver.
