You can use the auto sprint booster in a 6mt but it isn't as aggressive as the 6mt version. The 6mt version will work in an auto, but i wouldn't recommend it as it may cause hard shifting.

and about what I said in regards to the untrue statement. T7n7 said that the sprint booster disables a safety feature. The sprint booster remaps the throttle and has nothing inside of it which is designed or intended or capable of disabling a safety feature.

just my 2 cents on everything.

my car does stall when i am decelerating to a stop where it auto shifts to 1st gear. it did this without and with sprint booster. only when u shift down to 2nd gear in 2 occassion it did stall like as if the tranny did not like the gear which was not true since i was doing 20-30km/h .but not a huge deal.

about putting it to 1st gear when its doing 60, first i would only do it, if i really really forget or downshift twice.besides i remember trying it at speed lower than 60(maybe 30-50 interval)the tranny did not allow me to do it.(sprintbooster on)

why would you shift down to 1 when u r doing 60km, its bad if u have triptronic or manual anyways. I would never even try doing it, (except bad day, sick, day dreaming)

the only difference i feel with the sprintbooster is the little bit quicker response times doing manual shifting, besides i barely use the auto mode.it is quiet a money i definitely agree and I blame t7n7 for his advertising and promotions haha kidding.. whatever we do, manual is manual but there are ways to improve the triptronic with different methods of mods. my next sport car is definitely going to be manual )

haha hey, as long as your having a much better experience it, blame me all you want :P

as for my manual mode, i lost it when i had my gauges converted (i have a AWD + RAS) gauge in there lol... but considering the amount of damage i probably did with manual mode + my driving habits.. i think i'm better off without it...

and no, i didn't mean to shift down to 1st going at 60... sometimes when i do sudden braking.. i shift down and since there is no lag.. i sometimes end up putting it in 1st....

maybe i have the MANUAL version???!! its all good.. i love my sprintbooster and I wouldn't give it up for ANYTHING!!!

I bought mine for much more then what knight offers them for.. so anyone who is interested.. should give him a shout!

I posted for volunteers for testing, 36 people have read the thread and no one wants to test it out. Hopefully someone will volunteer so we can get the ball rolling.

pm'd.
question though- as to the auto shifting issue, i just want to try to get this straight, im alil confused. in my car, theres a point when it will no longer allow me to downshift into 3rd gear. (same with other gears) so what seems to happen is the car no longer has the "oops thats gonna over-rev me" function?
and also, when comming to a stop, it wount drop back into 1st gear?

Wouldnt it be easier if he drove to hamilton? t7n7 had a 03 coupe i think so his gears dont downshift automatically for him so he had to do it himself anyways. Im not sure how it would work on your 05 since it already downshifts by itself.
