Does anyone know how long it takes to get the discharge statement from the bank?

if you know someone in the bank (account manager or higher) make them call the department to see where the file/process standing right now, if any possibility to rush it( client is in dire need of finishing this (lying works :P ) ).it always works, there is usually no standard processing time. all depend on how lazy the legal guys are.

So I just got off the phone with the dealer... the bank says it takes 2 business days to process and fax the discharge over. They received the money on wednesday.... so according to that I hope it's ready for tomorrow, even though they said it's 50 50.

Sounds like a bunch of hooey.
I've had leins cleared in less then a hour.

Really depends on the people doing it, but the majority of them take their time.

Yeah I agree with you, I just got off the phone with the bank they didn't make any sense at all. I asked them how long it would take to process the discharge, the man replied 1-2 days if they have money in hand. I told him that you received the money yesterday and if it would be processed for friday. He said most likely monday - tuesday. What the hell is that?
