Minor issues with G...feedback greatly appreciated

Hi guys, I've been having two minor issues with my G and I'm not sure if parts need replacement or if they need to be adjusted somehow...any experience with these two issues would be great for me to get the ball moving.
1) My passenger side seat can move back with the side seat control but not forward. However, if the passenger door is open and I push the top of the seat down to allow for someone to sit in the rear, the seat moves forward normally (by itself)! Could it be that the switch is loose? If the motor is working when the door is open it should when it isn't...
2) Power lock does not affect the driver side door, have to key in to open and lock manually from the inside. Have any of you experienced this without having to change the door lock actuator? Possibly the part linking the lock to the motor (that long "wire" with a edge that sticks into thelock point) being loose?
Thanks in advance

1) Motor sounds fine since it still moves when the auto-forward is activated for someone to get into the back seat. Sounds like the switch to me.
2)You sound correct on this one as well. If you can I would pull the actuator and see if you can make it work yourself....(you may be able to do this in the door)using an equal power source to the factory wire. Then you can eliminate the wire as the culprit right there and know if you have to replace the actuator.
My 2 Pennies.

Thanks for the feedback, I did a little bit of reading on the seat and it turns out that someone had the same issue. Turns out dried out sugar from a minor coffee spill was sticking the switch in one direction.
I will look into the lock this weekend.
Thanks

Good to hear on the one simple fix. G/L on the other one.
