STAY AWAY FROM UPS... THEY SCREWED ME OVER A LOT!!! I was suppose to receive 2 plane tickets first class to go to Jamaica on vacation that was sent through UPS RUSH service.. lets say.. I missed my flight, had to pay a penalty to the resort for no-show and did not get the ticket until two weeks later, and they advised me that they are not responsible and will not refund.. After being on the phone for hours with various managers. I was not reimbursed GO WITH FED EX!!!!

Fedex is better for me. But Pop on some fragile stickers on the box and put the declared value to how much it costs. Should be ok . Also read up on the declared value crap, some places only allow up to 100 bucks even though you put down more.

And Package them well, I dont know how rims are usually shipped if just wrapped up or in a Box, but imo boxes with frail stickers on it and the guy handling it wont know what it is. If they see its metal rims they might just toss it around not caring about it.

I dont exactly remember what my friend said who worked at UPS I think Ground and next day were the worst to send it buy. But I am not sure just Google some info up.

Hey,I work for UPS, if you do get a bill for brokerage fees, send me a PM and I will "look" at it for ya....Could end up being a "good will write off". Tends to happen for people sometimes...

Being that I'm a UPS driver I'm gonna say UPS. I've worked in many different areas of the package handling process, picking up, unloading, loading, sorting, oversized items, delivering, all of it. Of course, things are going to happen to people's packages, it's an unfortunate part of the business. However in my experience, MOST of the time, items were packaged badly and this ends up being the cause of damage. You just have to think about what's going to happen after the package leaves the shipper, and determine what's necessary to ensure it's safe arrival. Many do not.

For rims, not every company puts enough protection around the lip of the rim, so I would definitely inspect the shipment upon receiving it. Rims just happen to be one particular package that's slightly more difficult to handle safely than most others, because of the size, weight, and shape.

UPS or Fed-Ex, either way I hope your rims arrive safely

Can you guys elaborate more on this...

Does it stay in a UPS/FEDEX building in niagara, ny, waiting for you, or are you shipping it to one of those US addresses companies?

Ship it to

"insert your name here"
c/o Can Am Mailbox Rental
2315 Whirlpool St
Niagara Falls NY, 14305

Track your package and when it is signed for make a road trip. They are 5 minutes across the border. Pay the 10 bucks grab your package and come back across the rainbow bridge. Claim it at customs ( or not)
