I'd be doing all of the sanding, bodywork, and tear-down. They'd only be spraying it. Still seems somewhat on the cheap side but I'm not too sure.

oh if you're doing all the prep work yourself that's the hard part, that's mostly what you're paying for when you get a paint job anyway... the spraying is easy!

so yea that sounds like a good price if that's the case, good luck and post pics after.

Yup, I'll definitely keep you guys updated. I'm just trying to decide whether I should just have my trunk painted OB for $250 or spend the extra for the full car. What would you guys do, I can't decide lol.

I was debating getting the Mastergrade but they're rep is pretty bad now it seems. I'm gonna try and put it on before I go to work. Hopefully I'll be able to get some teaser pics today. Here's some pics I found yesterday.

Mastergrade bailed on the sedan bros for the CF trunk. They took a couple of peoples money too. I am pretty sure they worked it out now and everyone got their money back but it was chaos and a lot of frustration for a little while.

That price seems about right since you're going all the work haha.

I'm pretty curious about this too because I'm looking into getting my Nismo bumper painted, hood and grille done. I'm wondering if I should hit this place up. Definitely let us know how it works out! I'm pretty curious, the price seems fair to me.

If this place doesn't workout I've got a place painting my front end (bumper, hood, blended fenders) for $1000 cash. He's also doing the fitment and drilling on my bumper, the nismo is a direct swap so he won't need to drill anything.

Thats not too bad, I'm thinking of just having them spray my bumper and I do all the fitment myself. On the other hand, I think it might be worth the extra few hundred bucks and some stress just to have them do all the fitment and alignment issues. Someone backed into the front end of my car and it buckled the hood, cracked my grille and scuffed my bumper

Yea that's what I said I don't want to drill the bumper and totally destroy it.

Stclair, you're not painting under the hood or the jambs right? Because it's a close enough match not to matter?

Ya thats exactly why, you wont even really notice cause its not like changing it from silver to red. Im not ready to pay 4+ gs for a paint job.
