Has anyone here ever used them? They're right around the corner from me so its by far the closest Does $250 sound like a decent deal to have a trunk painted?

I forgot to ask about taxes but I'm assuming it's without taxes. Trunk is new with no spoiler.

Thanks guys. I think I'll be taking the trunk there to be painted, gonna look around abit more first.

If you hadn't mentioned Can-Alignment, I never would've known. Somehow I managed to drive right by that building for years and I never knew it was an alignment shop lol. I need an alignment so it was perfect timing

They're located in Carlisle, about 15 minutes from Hamilton/Burlington. I'd say they're about 10 minutes from the 403 (Hwy 6 exit). They're on the 6th concession, 365 I believe, off of Hwy 6.

No problem

I doubled checked the address and its actually 385 6th Concession E. They're phone number is (905) 689-7159. I think I'm going to stop by there on my way home from work tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what it looks like it.

^sounds good.

In my experience there's a big difference between custom shops & collision repair shops.
I have at least 6 collisions shops on the same street as my business; I wouldn't go to any of them.

I had a good custom shop a few years back, but the guy retired.

Sorry it took awhile to get back to this. I didn't get a chance to go there until yesterday. I don't have much experience with body shops but it seemed to be a pretty good place. I'll definitely be having my trunk painted there. I'll be sure to post up some pics and a review once it's done

So I just got a new quote from them. $500 labour and $700 for materials to paint the car a new colour. That price is with the door jams, no engine bay. I'd be doing all the sanding, bodywork, and tear-down. Does this sound like too good of a price? Also, they use the Ultra 7000 line from Sherwin Williams I believe, does anyone have any feedback on this paint?

thanks for the thread, I will be checking out this shop next week, I needed my sideskirts done.

and as for the price, it's really on the cheap side, a proper paint job where you take off all the pieces like bumpers, skirts, etc... will cost you between 3 and 5 grand....
but on the other hand the shop that did my paint job also does $1500 full paint jobs and they look just like a 5 grand piece of work, it all depends on how much prep work is involved and how good the painter is...

My paintjob looks like a 10 thousand dollar job so nobody believes me when I say I spent just over 3 grand for it... so you CAN get a quality paint job for a good price if the guy doing it knows what he's doing
