best place in the gta to get winter tires

i just picked up my new g last week and im starting to think about places to get winter tires for later this year. where is the best/cheapest place to get tires?

my sizes are 225/45/r18 and 245/45/r18

anyone have hookups?

you might consider a smaller size wheel unless you have brembos.

i do have the brembo package on my G. but which size do you recommend? i just wanted to keep the same size because i dont have lots of money and i wanted to keep the same stock rims for the winter tires

Steelcase Tire is also a good place.
I've done lots of business through them.

if i did want to downsize my winter tire package which rime and tire size would you guys suggest to go with my brembos? i want to keep the price as low as possible. also note that i'm not the kind of guys that speeds down the road all the time, im more like a laid back cruiser

Standard Autowreckers...they have a new/used tire and rim shop, guarantee they will give you the best price.

couple buddies of mine run exclusive wheel and tire in ajax. super competitive prices. tell them Troy with the G sent you.

hossmaxima are u joking? isnt standard auto wreckers just a junkyard? i use to go to there for parts for my 92 mazda

usually people have 17 or 18 inch wheels for winter rims+tire. i have 17 BSA package actually im hibernating my car for the winter so selling my package this year.if interested lemme know.

No I am not joking, they have a rim and tire shop and they offer really competitive pricing.

located in miss, friend owns the shop got a great deal last winter . the bussiness is called parsion tires located in streets ville, miss thomas st and queen st

Try tireworld in Brampton... they always have good deals.

As for a smaller size on your Brembos, there have been a few threads on 17inch rims for Brembo package. THe rim itself will fit, its the offset that people usually have an issue with. Ive read some guys install spacers and dont have a problem.

IMO, I would never run another 18" winter setup. You cannot get a decent "snow" tire for 18" rims, just ice tires, and usually they are high performance ice tires. I would definitely try to find some 17s with the offset or with spacers and rim 17" W409 Hankook IPikes. Great tire and very aggressive for snow and ice. Also studable if you order them north of north bay
