wow, 4 seasons out of the winters, that is impressive. Until last year when I bought the G, I never used winter tires. I put on probably 11000 km on my winters last year - they still look in really good shape.....

^^ Me, too. If the weather goes belly up I may have to switch to the winters earlier this year - my garbage OEM Turanza A/S's are finally at the end of their life and will be replaced in the spring. I'm less than confident just driving in the wet with them right now, let alone snow.

We'll see what the situation is when I get home, I'm hoping I can put it off a few weeks, but I hear the white stuff has been seen in my 'hood.

That sucks, it is peaking about +6C in Winnipeg and I can expect snow to come in next week. I feel so short changed with the crappy summer + having my car in storage already + taking the bus at 6:30 A.M, not fun times lol.

Snowing right now. Bridges were iced on the way home... AWD + winters FTW.

The drive home from work on the summers today was quite a slow pace. I need to look for some winters, hopefully the fall temperatures return here. Awful time to have just put my coupe up for sale though.

No problem driving home on summers until I hit Okotoks. For some reason we get more snow than Calgary.

Parked the car in the driveway when I got home. Looked outside 2 hours later and my car slid down the driveway onto the sidewalk. I guess its time to put the winters on.

Yup, a light dusting on warm roads then wind to freeze the bridges. Gridlock due to a crash on Stoney TR over the river, then nobody could get moving again due to the ice on the sloped bridge deck.

No promises about keeping the snow here. We'll try to keep it West (of Alma that is...).
