Thinking about selling the G

Hey guys,

So I'm thinking about selling the G. How much do you guys think I would be able to get for a '08 G35x in Platinum Silver with 20,000kms. The car does not have the Tech package.

On autotrader G's with more kilometers are about $39k.

I would appreciate the input.

your best bet is to research in the local resources. autotrader, buysell, craigslist, , KBB, etc. compare models, mileage, options to come up with a reasonable estimate.

I have been comparing and calling different infiniti dealerships. They're saying on the private market it's about $36-37k. I've checked on those sites and the only G35x '08 that is see is out of brampton nissan and that has 36,000 kms same package for about $39k.

I'm not unhappy with it. I love the car. I just started a business venture and need to free up some cash.

so if a similar vehicle is $39k at a local dealer, take ~$2-3k off for private sale. it sounds like you're off to a good start.

the mileage is only really an issue if it is excessively high for the year. e.g. if an '08 had 90k kms then it would have depreciated by a few thousand bucks more than a vehicle with average mileage. you won't get too much "credit" for lower miles. maybe $500, probably less.

I agree with canucklehead, that should get you in the right vicinity.

...good luck with your plans.

Just to provide an update.

I have been offered in the area of $30,000 high and a low of $29,000. I've decided against it. Too much of a lose.

Thanks for the info guys. It made the search much easier.
