I have been seeing pictures and videos about the new lexus lfa everywhere. it was first a concept but it seems like the production is coming soon.but the expected price seems a little too much, $225-400K.

the engine is v10 500hp 5 liter engine. top speed 320km/h.the sound is amazing , it gives kinda like a aston martin eloped with porsche carrera gt type exhaust tone.

personally rear resembles audi r8 lines front is ordinary. i think they r trying to make a super car but i think it can maybe f with nissan gtr. besides with that price range noone will pay that much money to a lexus rather than lamborghini,porsche,ferrari or even aston martin.

whats your opinions on the car, by the way new acura nsx is coming in 2011, i didnt like the car a bit.car manufacturers start imitating each other.

Not impressed. It just lacks the styling, class, human touch, etc that is present in most European cars of this class/price range. I am not sure if the Asian automakers will ever be able to achieve that. This can be a "super car" performance wise but it still in many ways looks like an "assembly line" car that other Lexus models look like... there is just something not there for it. Just my opinion of course.

The LF-A looks pretty good actually. I like it more with the top off than the hard top. The rear exhaust is kinda weird IMO, but whatever I guess.

The Toyota FT-86 concept takes some of it's design cues from it and would actually be an affordable car I think if they ever make it:

 

The toyota does look nice! I just look at it with different expectations/standards in mind.

But man the sound of that specfic 4.8 V10 that revs to 9000rpm is one of a kind.
