it's not a civic, be happy it isn't, and don't try to make it look like one.

Painting interior plastic does seem ricer, but i do think the nissan silver plastic is an eye sore. There is this paint for interior pieces that finishes in a smooth almost fuzzy feeling textured black. It works very well if applied right. I would like to see the whole center console done in it. I don't know how resiliant it would be for the door pulls though.

I painted my door pulls and they have held up great. I've smashed them with my keys and stuff and they still look good.

What you need;
200 grit sandpaper
000 steal wool
Duplicolor Adhesion promoter
Krylon fusion (high adhesion plastic paint)
Can of clear coat, duplicolors is great but krylon makes good stuff too

Scuff the pieces with the 200 grit paper, clean them. Spray adhesion promoter on wait 10 minutes, then layer the paint on. Thin as hell as many coats as you want. Then put the clear on, 3-4 coat will be plenty.

4dgs,

What color did you go with? Black by any chance? I'd like to see pics if you got some.

I went with black, but I just did the door pulls. I haven't had a chance to rip my dash apart and get that done. I don't have any photos that I can find and my car is in the shop, I'm heading in there today though so I'll remember to bring a camera and get some for you.

No big deal, I can grasp the idea of Black pulls. I may o the same now, my car was previously owned by what I can only describe as a gypsy woman with 13 rings per knuckle and there isnt much left of the silver on the drivers pull. My Ipod interface is on its way too so i'll have the center section off, thought it'd be a good time to do it black too. Hmmm.

Gcoupe-Toronto,

What color were you thinking? I'm changing my poll answer to yes, if its black.
