My Latest Mod (first post in this section)

So i've never posted in this section for some reason, but i decided i'd share my newest mod with my fellow canucks.

It was given to me courtesy of a 50 something year old eastern european man in a 2008 civic.

Sorry for the poor quality pics, they're from my berry.

anyways, we were driving in the same direction, he pulls over and then pulls out and makes a u turn not knowing i was right behind him. i end up t boning him.

from what i saw from the shop i'll be getting

New Hood
Grille
Bumper (i'm getting an 06 sport )
Bumper absorber thing
Bumper Reinforcement Beam
New Air bags, and maybe new dash and steering wheel? not sure about that one.

hopefully i get my car back next week, and the guy ordered the right bumper

Oh man, that bites. Nice that you're getting some new stuff, but accidents are always such a pain in the ****.

Glad you are alright. The car should look sweet with the new bumper.
The same type of accident happened to some friends of ours a few weeks ago. Guy in front decides to do a U-turn in front of them (on a 4 lane road). He tried to tell the cop that they rear ended him. The cop didn't buy it. I think he had seen enough of these to know who's telling the truth.
I hope you get your wheels back soon.

Ouch Nasty! Looks like the Civic got it real good may have wreaked some havoc on the rear suspension and frame.

I thought they automatically write the car off if the airbags go off?

nope. you are probably refering to flood damage! i just fixed an 05 g35 with deployed bags....

btw how much was the rough estimate? more than 6-7k? parts dont come cheap with our cars.....a skin for a seat costs something like $1200...

^ haha he didn't

he was really nice about the entire situation, because he knew he was fully at fault.

it was raining that day and i was out in the rain, and he offered me a seat in his car to make my icbc claim and to write down our info.

but the weird thing was, when the air bags went off in his car, pieces of the interior popped off.
