So I finally took the G to Vic today. He did a full inspection. He said all was clean. I was happy to hear. He also fixed the wires that were cracked and disconnected for the spoiler light. While I was at it I did a synthetic oil change (78,000 km). Luckily also, he had a customer with slightly used Blizaks on Avante raciing rims that I bought off of him. So I'm all set for a while.

Thanks for all your recommendations!

In any case, getting over to Simone's in this morning's snowstorm was an experience. It was hard to take off from stop and VDC kept kicking in. I had to try to get out of a parking lot I was stuck in, in reverse.. LOL.

Anycase, I did get my snows and was it ever Day and Night! Highly recommended!

Of course i don't plan on driving the G in snow all the time, but it's good to just be prepared when the wife and kids are having fun in the AWD Lexus!

Great to hear you are now snow-shod and your G has a clean bill of health.

Thats good news and you got a deal on some tires too...nice!
BTW - It's ok to turn OFF the VDC when you are stuck. Then you can get it rockin' back in forth. Just remember to turn it back ON as soon as you are free.
