Hi Guys,
I am soo pissed.I ordered my Coupe on 02/22/03. I got an order number a week later from my sales rep. Today I called to see if everything was okay with the order and if the car was infact going to be here for April 30th. Well I did not call my sales rep I called the person incharge of ordering the vehicles,
to cut a long story short he basically told me that he just placed the order this month and I was lucky to get April allocation, meaning that I now have to wait until June!!!!!
Man am I ever pissed off at their customer service....
I am going to send a letter to Infiniti of Canada about this.
This is a great impression on Infiniti considering I was a life long Acura user who has just switched to Infiniti.

Hey, sorry to hear about your bad experience with Willowdale. I've said it once and I'll say it again, 'DO NOT go to Willowdale Nissan/Infiniti for anything, not sales and especially not service.' If you do a search I think you'll find that there have been a lot of bad experiences at that dealership.
I would try and cancel my order and go to Alta, see the sales managers there and tell them what happenned, see if they can help you. They are in competition with Willowdale, and have recently beat them to take over their spot of #1 dealership in the GTA for sales. Alta would likely want to beat their closest competitor and keep their spot.
As far as contacting Infiniti Canada, check your private messages.

STAY away from willodale infiniti............take ur papers to ALTA and tell them your situation, they love hearing what screw ups other dealers are. They genuinely care and they'll put into a new coupe in no time........i had the same problem but with scaraborough nissan and ALTA put me into a coupe in less than a week (since i was flexible with colour and options and they had a cancellation)

let me tell u about willodale infiniti.... i went in and asked about the coupe, they would not offer any information other than price without a deposit. I said well tell me is the wait 1 week, 1 month, 1 year and some idiot of a sales manager sais more or lessdon't waste my time, i need an order before i can do anything. WHO THE HELL DOES he think he is?
anyways stay away from them.
ALSO for my QX4 they charge like $30-40 more then other dealers for a simple oil change........ all in all the management there sucks

Alta is doing something right. Everyone in the GTA who is buying a Nissan or Infiniti should know that, especially the people who read this Canada section. Matthew Tam at Alta will help you out no problem. I also suggest you phoning Infiniti Canada rather than sending them a letter (or do both), that way they hear your voice. Ask to speak with someone higher as well, instead of front line support people. GL man

G35INTDOT: I purchased my coupe from Willowdale two weeks ago and I won't be able to get an order# until April 16 according to the dealer. Who did you talk to when you found out about your car not being ordered. I would like to call them as well when I get my order#. Also, which sales rep did you deal with. Mine rep is Johnny Cheung and he has been great to me so far. Got a great deal on my trade-in and he is throwing in a set of aluminum pedals as well into the deal. He told me delivery will be in June/July timeframe.

I told him I really wanted a set of aluminum pedals put on the car. All I had to do was to give him the part numbers so he could order them for me, because he didn't seem to know much about them. Fortunately, I was able to get all the part numbers from this site, or was it FreshAlloy, I can't remember. I called him today to see if was able to order the part numbers that I gave him and he said that he could get them all, no problem. I also told him of the bad reputation the dealer was getting on the forums and he seemed truly concerned. He was perplexed to hear about G35INTDOT's situation stating that it was pretty much impossible for that to occur. He suggested that there must have been some kind of misunderstanding because he has cars coming in every month especially from cars ordered in February. He even has one coming in this month that isn't spoken for yet, that is I believe it was a Silverstone fully loaded but without the Navi, so I turned it down because I really want the Navi. If you read this G35INTDOT, if I were you I would give Johnny a call and try to find out if there really is a misunderstanding or if what you found out is really true. Let me know either way because it does concern me as well as people like Saridi who have just recently ordered cars from that dealership.

Well I spoke to Infiniti of Canada and they have cleared up the miscommunication. They were a big help. I will be receiving my car by May 15th. So I apologize for the info but I was worried. So I may now say this with reassurance that Willowdale is a good dealership and I believe that they will be soon rebuilding their reputation. It does happen time to time that a company that has been around for a long time might slip, which I think happened to Willowdale in the past but from what I see today with the expert sales I believe they will be in the consumers good book once again. Well cheers & I will post pics once I get me baby. I look forward to attending one of the meets once I get my car.

Another Willowdale Infiniti Client here reporting on my experiences with this unprofessional, tacky, behind and not up with the times dealership. I ordered my G35Coupe 5AT+performance w/ 18' chrome rims+NAVI over 5 months ago and just received it a few weeks ago. As much as the wait was worth it since I chose one with NAVI this long wait eventually got to me. Alot of the salespersons there are quite tricky and like all car salesman use good, sneaky, tricky tactics which I can never trust. As much as the physical dealership and its service dept. does not appeal to me and lacking up to date technology, I've been told that they have 2 superb mechanics that are classified and one of the best in Toronto by a credible friend of mine who has close ties and well connected with the dealership. Personally I dealt with one of their top salesman there, also a manager, his name Being Haig, he wasn't as bad to deal with. By the way did u guys know that u can track your vehicle from the CN rail website once it shows SEA status delivery at Vancouver port? All u need to know is the VIN number of the vehicle! One more thing since I ended up running into a small accident with my all new Coupe where I ended up driving in the a curb and the whole bottom of the front bumper was damaged and a fist like punch in the centre etc..I found the best Auto Body Shop in Toronto, hands down, the best service and repair work. If u ever run into problems or know anyone that is looking for top notch quality body service this place is the only place I would go, just inquite and I'll tell u where it is located etc..I could not believe how excellent the work was! WOW! It's like a brand new car from the manufacturer! I definately agree about making a complaint to Nissan/Infiniti Canada about this dealership and its low quality service. Also don't be surprised if your vehicle is delayed even longer by this dealership.

To those going to pick up their babies from Willowdale or Johnny Cheung:
I just had my Silverstone perform. pk baby picked up in mid April. Was ok with his service, only one thing... suppose to pick up in beginning of April, but ended up 14th, but that's ok now. Cuz we got Johnny to give us free stuff, <font color=red>MUST ASK for free stuff </font color=red> don't feel pity for the sales. I got $1500 after tax discount from him.
