Flashback, 1987

Just read this article on Canadian Driver this morning. LOL, I thought it was both interesting and comical. Boy, things sure have changed in 23 years!!

hahaha.... I had one of those POS cars.
Bought it as a winter beater.

My first car was a '86 Buick LeSabre Elegance. It had a 3.8 litre engine and every option imaginable. This was back in 01/02 and I was in 12th grade. Me and my buddies called it the Black Beauty. The build and ride quality is was second to none.

I like the the authors writing style. Can you imagine if the car was described like that when it was new.

My folks had the big ole oldsmobiles when i was a kid.. those things were tanks!

Same here, that's the reason I found it so comical.

A 5.2L V8 with 140hp, gotta love it!!

Haha wow, we've come a long way in that respect.

That thing must have just ate gas lol
