Is Gordgee still on the board? He used to sell one that had an activate charcoal layer.

I have a new Wix cabin filter for an Expedition/F150 if anyone's interested.

 

The paper filters are not expensive, most parts stores have them in stock and they will work fine at removing dust from the cabin air, no real need for activate charcoal layer. Auto Value sells Wix air cabin filters and oil filters. On oil filters avoid Fram which are junk, the Wix filters are built so much better.

 

That's a lot of work just to get to your cabin filter :/

 

finally got around to changing my filter, it wasn't too bad. But was semi-black, bent out of shape and had 3 mouse droppings

 

that looks like pink insulation that people put on houses.
