How is it possible to bring cars to service?

It seems all service departments close on weekends, and on weekdays most closes on 5. If one has a fulltime job, this isnt even possible without taking half a day off. Any suggestions? Can I request that they come and pick up the car? Is there such a thing?
Thank you so much for any information

Alta Infiniti in Toronto has new service hours where they open on the Saturday. My girlfriend's father also dropped off his car at night one day and took their loaner car, they worked on his car the next day and he returned the loaner after his was fixed. See if your dealership can also do that for you. Good luck.

It's still a G thang!!
Edited by rumble on 09/17/04 09:20 AM.

Good luck trying to get an appt any time of day. I've been calling Woodchester Infiniti in mississauga for three days now. I've left messages but still no appt. All I want is an oil change.

Question - is it ok to go to Jiffy or some of these other Oil change places. I'm sick of taking the care in for an oil change and wasting countless hours to make an appt and wasting 1.5 hrs waiting for the damn car when its in there. Last time I was there it took them 20 minutes to bring my car around. I just don't have time for dealership oil changes.

I'm north of the GTA so I use Doner Infiniti in Newmarket.

They just opened their new service area & have a quick lube area, with no appointment req'd. Good hours too.

My friend the best thing for you would be to drop the vehicle off the night before, or simply request a loaner vehicle, or drop the vehicle off during your break, have shuttle bus service your needs etc. Most people like yourself are in the same boat of course. We just have to make the time, its all about making the time or arranging things etc.

I too am going thru the woodchester "no service" service. I have called 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Never got a live voice from service other than the receptionist. I've left 3 voicemails and no call back. I am writing them off for any future work. I just made 1 call to Dixie/401 and spoke with someone the first time, booked my appointment, loaner car will be waiting. That's more like it.

I get serviced at 401/Dixie Infiniti. They open at 7:30am so I find out a slow day and go then. If its just an oil change I'm usually through in about 30 mins and then on my way to work. They've shuttled me back home if it needs more time and then I head to work that way as well.
