so mgfr's 4 yr bumper warranty is expiring in 20 days..what now..?

I have until tuesday to decide if i want to take their extended warranty.
BTW doesnt any 1 recommend having the stealership do a final proper inspection to c if any thing needs to be repaired, before the warranty expires...what are the chances that they will actually try to find issues..?
I thought the oil consumption issue will be covered until the powertrain...
