^+1 yup...
I water-sanded my old TL when I changed the color from silver to black ...looked amazing... but 1 advantage was.. when you water-sand, you can pretty much make the paint thickness to the same level as the rest of the car... its tricky but can be done.... no one in reality will go through all that unless they were doing the entire car
