Think I'll head south for some Tail
Besides all the things you listed , I would give your wheels a good coat of wheel sealant (Poorboys or Wheelwax) and a give the body a nice coat of Zaino sealant. I did this before our trip east and travelled over 6,000 kms and the FX washed up beautifully, dead bugs removed easily and the wheels cleaned up nice with no spots of stubborn brake dust and even a few spots of road tar came off easy-peasy.

Ya i havent had the car running good enough (although a few muscle car guys in RedDeer may disagree that the car isn't running good LOL) to the point I would trust it on a major trip like that. No spare tire my aftermarket tires are a different size than the OEM spare so it would ruin my aftermarket LSD however as of late it seems the bugs are worked out and i havent had any issues. Maybe next year for Z days

Thanks for the offer Shane. I'll ask Nancy if she'd like to do the trip in your S2K. I'll get back to you ASAP

Yeah it would. Think I should reconsider Shane's offer?.... But no, I want to do it in a car of mine. I'd be too worried every time a bird flew overhead.
