Anyone have any experience compounding a car that doesnt have clear coat? Ive done alot with clear, but this next one is a 91 MX5 and Ive read that it doesnt have a clearcoat.

I am planning to start with a cleaner after the claybar, and if that doesnt do it maybe the 205 compound with a mild pad. Kinda nervous so if anyone has any experience with non-clear please leave your tips! Thanks!

 

Yes on the G for example. On my toreador red coupe the bottom sill rocker and the mirrors are not clear coated. They came up beautifully with a 2 step compound.
