If you have lots of time and patience, read through this thread...lots of opinions, even some good advice. I personally prefer a 245/35 front over the 225/45 which looks a little stretched. On a coupe, I would also go wider/bigger sidewall than 255/35 (that's what I run and I think next set I'll go back to 245/40 out back).

I also like this tire size calculator since it allows you to match up sizes side-by-side, show the diameters, sidewall height and % difference.

Thanks for the offer Blane, but Eric gently slapped them on. I may be stopping by Rockstar to have you retorque them. I believe it's 85 lbs.
Thanks Eric.
They do look good Ian. I've been looking for a while and trying to justify the $ as my 18"s were in really great shape. Then Opportunity (aka Eric) knocks and I just couldn't resist. Oh and I needed tires soon anyways, yeah, yeah, that's it.

I'm going from 17's to 19's with Rays forged. Yours look great. I have a question, can I use my current OEM lug nuts for the new wheels or do I need to get new ones?

^WHS.
It's only 2nd gen wheels that have the shank style wheels that you have to worry about.

^ If they are OE Rays forged the OE nuts are fine.

You sometimes need a slimmer tuner nut with aftermarket wheels that have a smaller bore hole. (easier to get a wrench on)

I went from 17's to 19's with little to no adverse effects. A good tire will offer no more or less road noise, but small cracks and lines in the road may feel more prominent.

I'm thinking of going backwords to 18s now. Been craving a bit of the baloony tire look.
